I’d say that I have friend potential. Sure, you have to get past my initial shyness and awkwardness, trudge your way through the many quirks and oddities that comprise my personality, and then you have to come to terms that I love my friends intensely. You might say this is true of everyone. Fair enough. However, I know that being friends with me can’t be easy all the time. I also know that I try to be a good friend – I love doing things for people and spending quality time together.
I think my friend potential is helping. I’ve stuck up for friends being teased, cleaned kitchens that were not mine, scheduled movie nights for friends who are feeling down. Silly things. I have a huge desire to help when I can – I’d go to many lengths (and places, too) to help a friend out. Give me the chance, and I might even surprise you. I’m loyal to the core.
I’ve had many friends and with each, I have poured my heart out and trusted deeply. I’ve often had a best friend while never knowing that I was a best friend to someone else. At this stage in my life, I know I can be (and have been)a best friend. And I am wholeheartedly anticipating the opportunity to dig deep and make some new friends soon.
I have a lot of friend potential. Plenty of it is just waiting to be discovered. Some people even think my jokes are funny.
