i’m a 20-something who grew up in nebraska, attended university in indiana, got married in the summer of twenty-ten, and now lives in san diego county, california.  my upbringing, with two wonderful parents and four crazy brothers, my marriage to my crazy-sailor-best-friend-love-of-my-life, and my faith that Jesus is the son of the one, true God, have all been fuel for an adventurous life.  in some ways, i always will be a student.  i relish absorbing new information, and try to use every opportunity to learn and grow.

as far as my identity goes, i know that it is deeply seated in my relationship to my Savior.  i am always learning new things about myself.  i am taking small steps toward my future identity and am learning how to appreciate every part of my journey – both the pleasant warmth of the sunshine and the awe- and fear-inspiring thunderstorms.
